DICO is working on a number of initiatives that will affect Ontario credit unions and caisses populaires over the next few years. A discussion paper on its reserve fund will be released shortly outlining our proposed strategy in building a fund while minimizing premiums to member institutions. Other initiatives include a review of interest rate risk regulations, By-law #5 -the Standards of Sound Business and Financial Practices and the On-Site Verification Process.
